Important Health Information for Students

We are excited to welcome you to campus for Fall Semester! As we gather back on campus, we want to remind you that illnesses, including COVID, are still in the community.   Here are some ways to stay healthy this fall:
  • Please stay home if you are not feeling well and take a COVID test.  If you must go out, wear a high quality mask.
  • Bring 5 high-quality (N95/KN95) masks and COVID tests to campus with you.
  • Good sleep, good nutrition and good handwashing can help prevent illnesses!
  • If you are not feeling well, STAY HOME until you are fever free for 24 hours AND your symptoms have been getting better for 24 hours.  Then, WEAR A MASK around others for 5 days.  These recommendations are shown in the CDC poster below:
Here are resources available on campus to support you:
  • Free COVID rapid antigen tests and KN95 masks are available to our entire community at the Anderson Center Front Desk, the Food Resource Center (West Hall) and Counseling & Health Services (Basement of Manor Hall) while supplies last.
  • We strongly recommend getting flu and COVID vaccines this fall.  We will be hosting on-campus flu and COVID vaccine clinics in October.  Stay tuned for more details.
  • Visit /respiratoryvirus for more information.
  • Health Services is available to answer questions and schedule appointments.  Call 651-523-2204 or use the patient portal, found on the Counseling and Health Services website.
