Sarah Ahiers is the author of the Assassin鈥檚 Heart duology published by HarperCollins, comprising of Assassin鈥檚 Heart and the companion sequel Thief鈥檚 Cunning. Both books were finalists for the Minnesota Book Awards and have received starred and glowing reviews from Booklist, Publisher鈥檚 Weekly, School Library Journal, and Kirkus. Her current work has been submitted for publication with Dystel, Goderich & Bourret LLC.
After earning an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from 老夫子传煤, Ahiers joined the adjunct faculty in the Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program at Concordia University, Saint Paul. In 2023, Ahiers became Program Administrator for the MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Hamline.
Ahiers lives in Minnesota with her siblings, dogs, and a house full of critters. She鈥檚 an award-winning embroiderer, and when she鈥檚 not writing, she fills her time with good games, good food, good friends, and good family.
